Fans of KFC Go Crazy Over All-You-Can-Eat Buffet

Several KFC customers recently burst out laughing after seeing a viral photo of one of their restaurants presenting an all-you-can-eat buffet. The post has already become a social media phenomenon, with many admirers clamoring for the reintroduction of the buffets, which were popular in such establishments in the late 1990s and early 2000s. So, fans of kfc go crazy over all you can eat buffet.

One fan even started the whole thing by posting a photo of an all-you-can-eat KFC buffet in Washington. She wrote, “KFC. Bring back the unlimited buffet.” The snapshot was shared on the Facebook group Old Shops Australia, which is presently dedicated to “Aussie consumer nostalgia and retro retail memories.”

Hundreds of KFC buffet enthusiasts replied to this tweet, demanding that the buffet be reinstated. “I’d smash a KFC buffet,” one user said. We desperately need it back.” Another person said, “Damn, I miss these.”

Some people said they’d never seen anything like it, with one saying it seemed ‘torn off.’ “Wow, I had no idea that was a thing. I’m not shocked it didn’t work. So many people would ‘eat the place out.'”

Others recounted their recollections and experiences from eating at such a buffet. “Ahh, Bondi Junction’s KFC All-You-Can-Eat. $8.95- where I ate ONLY the skin of six pieces, drank limitless gravy, and then happily spewed up!” “One of the proudest moments of my 20s!” commented another. “1995/96 Jamisontown, NSW,” a third user continued. 8.95- I gained 14 kg during my second year in university.”

Another Facebook group member posted a photograph of an old-school all-you-can-eat buffet hosted by Pizza Hut back in January. Currently, a handful of these buffets are distributed over Australia.

The original poster uploaded a photo of the buffet stand in the restaurant’s center in Windsor, NSW, which was still dressed in its renowned 90s design. He stated that he had lately attended this buffet and thought the food was rather delicious. Was it similar to the KFC buffet? We may never find out.

“Some nice deep-pan pizza with cooked bases,” the original poster said. My recent takeaway deep-pan pizza bases have all been doughy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, although with an approx. Each direct requires an hour of travel time, which I will only repeat for a while. Oh, how I wish they’d reopen these restaurants. They were great gathering places.”
